Lice Information Seminars for Schools

Lice Information Seminars offer families and staff the chance to regain control when an infestation of head lice threatens to disrupt the educational process. The Nit-Picker shows parents how to check children for lice, displaying actual samples of lice and nits. She discusses ways to avoid spreading lice to others and offers tips and shortcuts on caring for the home and laundry during an infestation.

The question-and-answer session allows parents to explore a wide range of lice treament issues, including the truth about home remedies such as olive oil, mayonnaise, vinegar and essential oils. Lice Information Seminars direct the onus of responsibility for managing a lice infestation away from the school, empowering parents to take charge of head lice treatment at home.

Fee: $300 for a 2-hour seminar, plus travel
