In-Home Lice and Nit Removal

The Nit-Picker Inc. is New England’s original home lice treatment service. We make house calls to remove lice and nits the natural way—by hand. When we arrive we have everything we need: special seating and lighting, lenses, clips, and lice combs—as well as the wisdom and knowledge of many years of experience. With skill and determination, we remove lice and nits without any need for lice shampoo, gel, mousse, or spray. As we work we share our knowledge of head lice, offering tips and shortcuts on caring for the home during a lice infestation.

A single visit typically yields a success rate of 95% to 100%. While requests for return visits are honored, a second visit is rarely needed.

Fee for service: $100 an hour
Minimum charge: $200 per visit plus travel
Average treatment time: 2 hours per person
